Good 16 Months

Today, Kye Xin is officially 16 months old. A year and 4 months, 485 days, 11,640 hours, 698,400 minutes, 41,904,000 seconds. How time flies!!! Today, she walks, she runs, she climbs, she talks her language, she greets us, she waved goodbye and kisses, she hugs and so much more. We are slowly introducing words and letters to her, showing flashcards to her and she slowly recognise some of them. At babysitter's home, she has a set of her own "Masak" and she will act as if pouring tea into a teacup and play around. Last two weeks, we also slowly trying to get her not to wear on diapers during the day. The weather is getting hotter by day and we thought how good if she doesn't wear diaper. Toilet training is on, and somehow it is kinda difficult to get her to tell us when she wants to pass urine or motion.
16 months, not too long yet not too short. Lots of things change, as now hubby works according to shift hours. No more sweet sweet both of us to wake up early in the morning and send Kye Xin to babysitter. I only get to do that perhaps a week in a month, that is when he is on morning shift 7am to 3pm. And that is also in a rush as we have to wake up earlier and rush to office earlier. The rest of the week I will car pool with my colleague. I am very thankful that she is willing to fetch me and Kye Xin. My days are harder, as I need to juggle the morning session myself. No choice but to sacrifice my sleeping time. No regrets though, as I understand hubby is trying to make a change for better days for our family. Somehow he needs to go through this stage, hopefully he will excel, get promotion, earn better for us.
This year, we discussed, we will try for another baby by end of the year. We are slowly into changing our diet and lifestyle, hoping that we are more ready to have a second baby. Let's hope everything will run smoothly and Kye Xin to learn to be more and more independent. She is now deemed the rascal of the family, ransacking the whole house and receiving complaints of her bad acts everyday. Hahahahahahaha....I wonder what will happen next when she talks better???? Let's see in the following few months! Till now, Happy 16months birthday to Kye Xin!!!! Daddy and Mummy love you!
