I went to see my gynae after work today. It has been a month since I had my ultrasound scan. PPUM does not scan all the time and I rely on my gynae to tell me about Angel's development. Also this round I am abit worried since I did not put on much weight. On 14 Sept, I only gained 0.3kg (from 26 Aug) and now, another 0.2kg only, which totalled up to only 0.5kg for a period of a month. The gynae said if I don't put on weight that much, it will result in my baby being underweight.
A scan was done and the result was my Angel is now at 1.933 kg, showing an increase of 0.469kg from the previous scan on 29 Aug. This means that my 0.5kg increase is in fact Angel's weight increase. Haaaaa, good to hear that. At least she's growing! She commented that Angel might come up to 3kg upon her due date. If it is, then it is good news!
I was complaining to the gynae saying that I lose my appetite recently. She said it might be due to work stress. She stressed that I need to force myself to eat even I do not feel hungry. I should be taking frequent smaller meals everyday.
During the scan, she told me that Angel's head and abdominal measurements were normal. Her hairs are very thick, I wondered how she read the scan, I don't understand at all. And this round, Angel's legs are crossing each other, not willing to reveal herself to us today. Another extra thing the gynae done today is measuring my water level. It turns out to be 8cm only, which is just slightly above the lowest level which is 6cm. She reminded me to inform the PPUM doc to monitor my water level. This could be an indication of an early delivery. And she even said one part of my belly looked tight like contraction. If it comes along with pain, there's also chances of delivering early. It is best to keep it until week 38 to deliver.
Then again, I was praying in my heart. Somehow I do not want Angel to come out that early, I wanted her to grow even bigger than now. Plus there are simply too much preparation left undone. I just finished washing the clothings for Angel. With contributions from my sis and also my sis-in-law and my purchases, wow, Angel really had a big collection of clothings to choose from. Next thing, I need to buy the milk bottles for her. And hubby needs to find a suitable name for Angel. We simply running out of time.
Kuan Yin Ma, bless us. Bless Angel. And I'll be truly grateful!

20 September 2009
The day I have been waiting for has finally arrived. My parents-in-law were here to celebrate the day with us. They came the day before and helped out to clean the house. I can't do anything and just wait for the auspicious time 1pm to enter the house. Kinda sad at first seeing everyone going in the house except for me. Too many questions in my mind then, whether how's the house going to be like. I do not know if hubby's painting is acceptable.
The nights before were seriously a nightmare for both of us. Of all the things we bought, all were delivered on time except for the TV cabinet and coffee table. After numerous attempts of us calling and scolding the whole world of this particular furniture shop, they still did not take any action. We waited on Friday till 1am, still no calls. Worst of all, the initial TV cabinet we ordered is out of stock and they replaced with a 7 feet cabinet, which is 1 feet longer. And we had to pay an additional RM100. I refused to pay saying that this is not our fault and the fact if they made us waited so long. In the end, we agreed to pay only RM50.
On Saturday, it is raining the whole day. That makes our shifting even more difficult. Hubby's boss is here to fix the kitchen cabinets, somehow the rain managed to cover up the noises he made while drilling the walls. And hubby is so stressed up for his last minute shifting. Me myself couldn't do much, just packing the light stuff into boxes.
Right on the dot of 1 pm yesterday, I walked into the house. My feeling then again, tired coz we arrived just in time and just quickily went into the house. Somehow I was amazed at hubby's painting especially the pink wall he painted for the living hall. The sofa matches with the wall, the curtains were all right, except I find their workmanship not as good as expected.
Next would be my favourite wardrobe and bed. Very impressive. And the toilets, kitchen, yard were all fine. There are plenty of our stuff still left unpacked.I didn't have the time to take photos yet. I will wait till my kitchen cabinet doors are complete, then only I'll take a full set of photos of the whole house.
Then again, THANK YOU HUBBY FOR ALL THIS! HE DEFINATELY DID A GREAT JOB!

I guess he did it!
Yesterday he came back at about 11pm. He came back with red paints on his face on his foot. I knew in my heart he did that for me. And I wanted to find out which red he used, either the Sashay Red or Knockout Red. This remains mysterious as he doesn't want to say a clue. He just asked me to wait till the day. I guess this round, the painting is successful. His style is if it turns out bad, he would complain the whole night from the minute he came back. Hmmm, wonder if my intepretation are right or wrong. I gave him a simple rub on his back and with grateful thoughts in my mind.
He was also there to wait for the TV cabinet and coffee table. Bad news, the lorryman didn't come. And no one from the shop even bothered to contact us. Today hubby rang them a couple of times, and I lose my temper today. I also rang them up and complained the bad service they gave us. The sad news is the shop is blaming their office for not contacting us. And I answered him back, aren't you all in the same company? How can you not blame yourself for failing to contact us? I guess he must have been shocked and couldn't answer my question. Hmm, never mind, we would not purchase any more stuff from the furniture shop. The driver then contacted us saying that he will deliver to us tomorrow evening. This time, I asked hubby to take down his number and name. And he better be coming tomorrow, else I would go to the shop and scream at everyone! No one could ever ever try to challenge a pregnant lady!

A few more days to wait!!!
3 days more to wait!!!! My heart has been pounding very fast, can't wait till Sunday. Hubby doesn't want to take any photos for me anymore, he just asked me to wait patiently. The fridge, sofa and bed are sent. My long waiting wardrobe is finally installed. Hubby said their workmanship is good. Best of all, they took only one day to complete. We had changed our baby fan to Panasonic Bayu 4. It has been installed and he is pretty much satisfied with it. Our glass door grill is also ready, hubby also favour this, it must been very difficult for his previous boss to come up with the grill. He admired his handwork. The curtains are also ready, the wooden rods are installed. So does the Eubiq wiring.
The only thing I now worry is the kitchen cabinets. We went to see his boss yesterday and saw him working extreme hard to install our kitchen cabinet. According to him, he'll come on Friday and Saturday to complete the work. I do not know if he can make it, hubby is prepared to help him on Saturday. Somehow he said once I am in, they can't be doing anything already. Kind of putting pressure to his boss to complete for us. I sincerely hope he'll make it for us.
On the painting part, basically everything is done except for the wall near the island. Initially, hubby painted red but it didn't come out as what is expected. We went to the hardware shop and thought to buy another can of red paint. The salesgirl there commented that the mistake is we did not use the base paint. Base paint is required for colours like yellow, red, orange. The base paint would ensure that it will outshine the red colour. Listening to her comments, hubby initially planned to do it. But since there is only little time left, I'm not sure if he's doing it or not.
He will come back home late tonight. One part is to wait for the tv cabinet and coffee table to come, another part is he said he wanted to paint parts which the contractor made dirty. Perhaps he will paint the wall with red, I do not know. He doesn't want to reveal. If this is the case, and it turn out to be successful, I know he does care about my needs. And I would love him even more!!
I pray to Kuan Yin Ma that everything will go smoothly from now till Sunday. Let this new home bring cheer, happiness and luck to me, hubby and Angel. Let it be a very comfortable place for us to live in, and it will be a "bird nest" full of love and joy. I look forward to start my life at our "bird nest"!

Fourth PPUM checkup : 14 September 2009
It is another checkup in PPUM. Hubby drove me to the hospital. He dropped off a plastic cabinet at our new house. I reached there around 7.40am, got the number 1015. Hmm, the 15th person. This round, hubby was caring enough to get me tuna bread and packed Milo. He wanted to ensure I am not hungry while waiting for my turn for doc consultation. Thanks Hubby!
Too bad, each time when hubby is with me, somehow it took longer for me to wait for my turn. I was so tired that I dozed off till my number is called. My urine test and blood pressure were perfectly normal. The nurse praised me for my good blood pressure reading. However, talking about weight gain, this round only additional of 0.3kg. I was shocked. For the past one week, I have been following my colleague to eat good stuff, not forgetting the buffet dinner cum karaoke with Hubby. Still that doesn't add to my weight. Hmm, I wonder why. Does this mean my Angel only gain 0.3kg for the past 3 weeks?
I asked doc about my weight. She said it was normal. As usual, no ultrasound is done, just purely measuring my belly and also to hear my Angel's heartbeat. I also asked doc about the changes in my breast nipple. She said this is due to hormone changes and asked me to ensure that they are always clean. The checkup lasted about 10 minutes only.
My next checkup is in 2 weeks time, 30 Sept 2009. The checkup interval get shorter and shorter. The next checkup I would need to have my second tetanus shot.

7 days countdown to Home Sweet Home
One week exactly to wait for us to move in. And alot of things still unfinished. On Friday, the air-conditioners are successfully installed. Saturday, the lights and fans are installed. What's left is only the fan in my room. We initially bought the KDK Baby Fan considering the height of our ceiling. Too bad, it doesn't require a hook and it doesn't seem possible to be installed to the plaster ceiling. We are taking it to the shop today to exchange for another model.
The kitchen cabinets are not up yet, Hubby's friend is coming on Monday to install it. It will be a last minute job, I hoped that they will be able to finish it on time. Tomorrow, the curtain man is coming to install the curtain rods and the fridge will also be delivered.
Hubby didn't have the time to snap photos for me. I wanted to see the whole house with the lights on, especially the special living hall light he bought. Too bad, he is struggling to finish his paintings. Now he is there to paint the kitchen wall and living hall wall. He's been moody these days, he's very tired. I didn't go anywhere yesterday. Just spent the time at home to pack up the things into boxes. We seriously had alot to pack. I learned to keep only the necessary stuff. We planned to donate away the old fridge, table, TV and some other stuff away for charity. Got the telephone number, but I haven't contacted them. I will ask Hubby to do it.
He will come back at 2pm hopefully. He is taking me out to change the fan. I'm planning to stop by 1 Utama to buy the cloth hanger. I saw it previously, now wanted to buy it.
I had been very tired to hand wash my clothes. Hubby asked me to wait for another 1 week. Till then, I had to quickily learn how to use the new washing machine. I need to wash all my current clothings, and also the new towels, new quilt covers and bedsheets, new clothes for Angel. I'm sorry, washing machine, but I need your help right now. You will be working full force the minute we enter the house.

Mummy shops again for Angel!
On Friday night, off work, I just felt like going for another shopping for Angel. Given that I still have the Jusco vouchers, I thought to top up a few item for Angel. And since Hari Raya is in the corner, they have discounts to the items I wanted and this would make my purchase even more worth it. The items I bought this round are:-
Not much week left, I am now in Week 30. 10 weeks to go. I would need to stock in a few bags of diapers. I just had one pack of Drypers diapers currently. Thinking of buying Mamy Poko. Had to check out the price first.
I do not know why, but I felt Angel is feeling very nervous too. She seems to be very active lately. She's probably spinning, kicking, laughing and singing inside. Especially during the non-work days. She seems to be waking me up early in the morning. And I started to talk alot with her, she seem to respond to my questions. And she grows alot now, Hubby felt the difference too. The thing I now worry is the labouring process. I heard alot about mothers delivering their angels, each with different stories. And I can't imagine what's mine going to be. Pray and pray that I will sail through the process and it wouldn't be a difficult one for me. I will definately cry out happily in tears when they show me Angel. All sacrifices and hard work will pay off and be worthwhile.
- Cu Cuddles Velcro Binder, RM 5.30 less 20% discount
- Jusco Face Towel 8' x 8', Set of 4, RM 3.90
- Jusco Bath Towel, Set of 3, RM 10.00
- Pigeon Infant Cap, Mittens and Booties, RM 17.90 less 10% discount
- Pigeon Silicone Pacifier (0-5 months), RM 9.00 less 10% discount
- Puppy Winks Infant Cap, Mittens and Booties, RM 9.90
- Pureen Blanket with Hood, RM 18.90 less 20% discount
- Tollyjoy Cotton Balls 100pcs, RM 3.90

090909
This year seems to have twice of V-day. This day, every radio station has been airing sweet love songs, listeners calling in to make love dedications and lovebirds tying knot. Some even choose this date to deliver their angel. I would like to congratulate Sook Sun for delivering her 3.23kg baby girl and also to sis's SIL for delivering her 3.6kg baby girl. Ha ha, I am soon to join their group. It makes me even more excited counting days to my delivery date.
I have been reminding everyone that day to remain calm, sweet and stress-free. Somehow I felt love is in the air and I want to felt peaceful the whole day. Angel is getting very excited, she has been kicking and moving about.
My colleagues and I went to Kampachi for lunch. It is a Japanese restaurant located in 6th floor, Pavillion. I wasn't a big fan of Japanese food, but I enjoyed the meal I had, Salmon Shioyaki with soup, rice and fruit. The Salmon was plain grilled and it retain the good taste of the fish. If not for them, I surely wouldn't walk-in the restaurant myself. Hubby isn't a fan of Japanese food too.
The day was even sweeter when hubby took me to Neway Karaoke for dinner. Congrats to Hubby for his bonus payout today. Though it wasn't as good as last year's, but it is better than what he expected. So this dinner is his treat for me. I initially thought to go to Paddington House of Pancakes in Midv. But hubby insisted to have buffet dinner. I thought of Neway Karaoke as they offer buffet dinner and also singing session, 2-in-1, which also one of the place I wish to go before I commit myself to parenthood.
I can't remember when was the last time I went into the karaoke. Being pregnant definately reduces my energy to sing as before. Hubby himself had too much food inside and couldn't sing that much too. We laughed out loud hearing each other's singing and I truly missed the times we had during our college days. Thank you Hubby for bringing me there.

A treat for Mum-to-Be
Hubby was busy painting these two days. Yesterday after fetching hubby to the new house, I went to Rustic Nirvana to enjoy the trial pre-natal massage. It is RM 28 and I bought it during the Parenthood Exhibition. It was a 45 minutes session and a de-stressing treatment for mums-to-be. The benefits from the massage include relief from leg, hip and back pain, reduced swelling and improves blood circulation. The lady was kind enough to provide a comfortable support for my belly and I slept the whole 45mins session. A big thank you to her.
Next, I went to do my facial session after not doing it for the past 29 weeks. The session lasted for about 2 hours. I must say I had my 3 hours of relaxation yesterday. The consultant is also kind enough, making sure I lie comfortably. She commented that I had alot of blackhead and also a drier face. She reminded me to do more hydrating mask. I don't think I will do that, I'm simply feeling restless.
After the two sessions, I went back to pick hubby and off we went to Baby Love.

15 days countdown to Home Sweet Home
15 days officially to wait for us to move into Home Sweet Home. Alot of things remain unfinished. Hubby is not yet finish with his paintings. What's left is the two walls in the master bedroom, the centre ceilings and walls for living and dining halls, and also the kitchen walls. He'll try to finish them up tomorrow and Sunday.
Next Friday till the following Wednesday, he will be on leave again. Friday, the air-cond man will come to install the air-conditioners, the lighting man will come to install the lights and his boss will come to finish up the kitche cabinet work and grills. Today his boss came to install the base for the glass door grill and also the window for the yard area.
Monday, Jusco man will deliver the fridge over. Big thank you to Papa and Mummy. It is the gift from them for my new house. Tuesday, the furniture man will deliver the sofa. And the wireman will come over to install the Eubiq wiring. Wednesday, the bed man will deliver the bed set for us. These are the major stuff I could think of. Oh ya, the washing machine should come on Saturday, a day before we move in.
From time to time, Hubby moved the stuff in our current house to the new house. It is pretty much tiring for him and also me. He carry all the stuff, I'm only in-charge to open the car door and also the guard his car at the car park area. He wouldn't let me to go over to the house, not even to walk near the entrance. He is really in stress right now. I find him becoming more and more emotional, especially driving, where he will start cursing whenever there is car blocking his way. I guess he wanted to let go some of his stress out. I must also be careful with my words, if I phrased them wrongly, we'll end in a fight. Hopefully all this will come to an end this Sept 20.
Kuan Yin Ma, please bless hubby. Let him be strong physically and mentally. He'll overcome all this stress including stress at work. And everything will run smoothly for him!

I've reached Week 29, the start of my third trimester!
Today is the start of my week 29 of pregnancy. It is the start of my third trimester. Time really flies and I have 11 weeks left. There are greater changes I find now. I started to get tired than before. There are times when I am so sleepy that I can just dozed off even sitting on a chair. And Angel is moving actively almost every hour. Sometimes, I could felt Angel is pushing my belly from left to right and it is really intense. My belly now become more and more noticeable.
I read in the Web that at this time, pregnant lady may gain weight very fast than she ever notice. And it is important to drink at least 8 cups of water everyday to prevent fatigue and constipation. There might be also possibility of water retention or high blood pressure. I must make sure I remain calm this whole trimester, not over stress myself and always maintain a cheerful and positive thinking lady. I pray to Kuan Yin Ma that she will bless me and Angel. Let Angel be born to this world happily and healthily. We will be very thankful and grateful then.
