Just a recap, we were at Tropicana Mall last Sunday. We went to visit hubby's friend in Equine Park. Then as we were heading home, we had to wait for hubby's brother back home. So hubby decided to bring us to Tropicana Mall to wait since we never been there before. The photos below are a few we took there. Notice I put Angel on a dress we bought in Sogo. She looked clumsy in it. Perhaps we should put her on the dress when she grows bigger next time.

Long weekend with Angel
Friday is a public holiday, thus I spent my long weekend with Angel. The days have been very tiring now that Angel would always want to turn around her body and we would need to be by her side most of the time.
I noticed her neck and her slimmer face now, as a result of turning over her body all the time, new exercise and burn more calories. She will keep quiet, looking left to right. The moment she shouted, she wanted us to put her back to the lying position. Ha ha ha, smart baby...
We didn't bring her anywhere except for Jusco Wangsa Maju yesterday evening. For these few days, hubby had to go back to work, poor thing. And I have been noticing that now Angel has a fix time to sleep. When the time comes, she would want to have her pacifier, she will hug her cloth diaper and lay down quietly to sleep. Maybe the babysitter trained her that way, I didn't know. I will observe more later. On Friday, I brought her out for a while and she did not have her sleep well through the afternoon. Then she came back, sleep from 5.30pm to 9pm. This is when I noticed she must have been very tired then.
Yesterday night, hubby was commenting that we did not snap her photos lately. He quickily take out his camera and tried to snap photos of her turning over her body. There are a few good shots, but we couldn't snap those where she was smiling. This is another mission to complete next week.

This morning, she woke up at about 9.30am. She had one round of her exercise regime, then drink milk at 10.30am. Now she is sleeping soundly. I often tell her to get some rest first, wait for milk to digest then only starts again. Hopefully she listens. Hubby is in the office now, I remembered he told me he wanted to bring her to Midvalley to get the mosquito net for our window pane. I do not know when he will come back......

Simple Dimple 123 Activity Playgym for Angel
Yesterday night, it was the first time hubby work late ever since Angel is here. Thank goodness, since the babysitter picks up her daughter from school next to my place, I asked her to drop by my Angel back home. At least it is easier for me to carry her. She reached my place around 7pm.
Half an hour later, Seiong and wife came to visit me. Their main purpose is to visit Angel of course. Guess what, they bought Angel the Simple Dimple 123 Activity Playgym for her. Very very nice of both of them.
Big big thank you to them. Since this is their first year of giving out ang pau, they gave her two red packets. Another round of thank you. Plus they also came with a bag of CNY goodies for us. I appreciate all that very much.
With the playgym, it can attract her to lay down quietly. Ever since she started to turn her body, she did that non stop, improving each day. Sometimes I wanted her to rest especially right after milk time. Hopefully she will like this playgym and learn to touch, hold, pull and press. And I will teach her to read 123.....

Day 2-Good progress!
Yesterday morning, after Angel finished her milk at 6.30am, she refused to sleep and opened her big eyes. She seems to know that she will be sent to the babysitter.
Then later at about 10am, babysitter rang up hubby saying that Angel is slightly feverish. I guess it must be caused by the injection she had earlier. She asked if she can buy the Chinese medicine for her. She preferred that than the clinic's fever syrup. I was worried at that time, do not know what to do. I'm glad that at least this babysitter knows how to drive. At least, she can drive her out to doctor in case she isn't feeling well.
At about 12.30noon, babysitter rang me and said Angel is all right, not to worry. Thanks Kuan Yin Ma!
After work, there's downpour at my office. Again, worried as we have to fetch her back later. We reached her house at about 7pm, after facing series of traffic jam. At that time, Angel was drinking her milk. The babysitter gave her a nice little angpau. Thank you.
She told me that she brought her out to fetch her daughter back from school. She agreed with me that Angel likes to be in the car. Angel will keep quiet and look here and there. Her children were happy to play with her, they even shoot a video of her movements. Guess what, today, she can finally turn her body, her head more stable to look left and right.
And another thing is, she seem to love to hold on to a cloth diaper when she wants to sleep. Babysitter asked if I give her that at home, and I said No.
The journey back to our home is about 5mings, and Angel keep on shouting cheerfully in the car. I felt that she wanted to tell and share her experience today with the babysitter and her children. Hubby and I were happy to see her progress today. Seems like she is starting to get used to the babysitter already.
I hope that she will continue to take good care of her. And I will sincerely and gratefully thank her!!

Last day of CNY break
Today marked my last day of CNY holidays. How time flies. Been resting for about 10 days, now felt lazy to work. Worse still, I have an additional task to be done every morning, to deal with Angel. Today is her first day with the babysitter. We brought her there at about 7.30am, she was sleeping soundly after waking up at 6am for milk. We chatted with the babysitter for awhile, and I was observing her house. It wasn't that great, yet I wanted to give it a try. She sounded experienced, and she's only 10 years older than me. And her children is already in secondary school. How nice!
We went back to see Angel at about 11am, she was also sleeping. According to her, she bathed her at about 9.30am, had milk at 10am, and continue sleeping. Then hubby and I went out to run some errands and by 4pm, we went to pick her up. Same thing, she just fell asleep. But this round, babysitter said Angel cried out awhile. She guess Angel must have recognise a different place and wanted my attention. How sad, if only I was there to console her. Still no choice, I have to face this now or later, Angel is growing up, she knew who is who and where is where. That is why I have been telling her where we will bring her and when we will pick her up. Hopefully she understands.
And during CNY, I guess I must have put on some weight. This will add one more task to me, go on diet. Hmm, difficult task. I pray very hard that from tomorrow onwards, things will be running smoothly, Angel will get used to the babysitter, babysitter to take good care of her, I will be able to finish my work on time.

Tiring weekend!!
Now that Angel is with us 24/7, I started to feel tired. As she is now growing up, she doesn't like to sleep on her bouncer anymore. She would cry to ask for you to carry her up and will stop crying when you stand up. Amazing, how a baby can monitor our movements!
The other day, as we were taking photos, I was comparing her palm with hubby's, aiyoyoh..... it is exactly the same.
Everyday, lucky for me, she will sleep through the night until 7am, sometimes earlier, sometimes later. I will then feed her, then she will sleep again till 10am or sometimes 11am. Next, bathe her, get her dressed. The moment I see her smiling at me, all pain and tiredness went off.
She will put to a babysitter on Monday. With this extra cost, hubby kept telling me to save and save. Don't spend unnecessarily. I have to cook at home then. Anyway, thinking back, cooking at home will be much healthier. Simple meals only, I'm glad that hubby isn't fussy about the meals I cooked. I'm also happy that hubby is helping me to take care of her while I cook or do the housework.
It is also difficult for me to write blogs and access to Facebook now. I have to take time off when she sleeps. Hmm, never mind. Once I get used to it, I will be fine. Kuan Yin Ma will bless me and give me strength to face all this. I also hope the new babysitter will take good care of her. Hopefully her cheerful and smily face will melt everyone's heart there!

Angel's day out - 19 Feb 2010
There are a few tasks to be done today. First, to visit Aunty Ivy and Grandma. Second, to take Angel for Polio and Tetanus injection in PPUM. Third to bring Angel to Midvalley to feel the CNY mood. Hmm, so right in the morning, I get Angel dress in a new babysuit and hubby took a few photos which I personally like:-
Just before we go out, hubby wanted to snap photos of her again. He must be missing out the moments with her. And lucky for him, Angel laughed out loud, he managed to snap them. Just that I wasn't looking at the camera.....wasted!
Off we went to Aunty Ivy's house. We visited her and Grandma. Grandma is not feeling well. And she will be sent to the nursing home on Saturday. But still she recognises us and said the words everyone said, "Your daughter look like father-lah!"
At the hospital, Angel was looking around, we took a number, 0013. Not bad number! When it is her turn, she cried abit as she doesn't want me to sit down. And just as that, the nurse poked the needle on her thigh. Good girl, you completed your injection!
Hubby decided we go to Midvalley to snap photos. Also to take Angel to feel the CNY mood there. He wanted to make up for her since she has been in T.Intan for the past 1 month. But the same thing happen again, she fell asleep. She must have been very tired after the injection. We waited for her to wake up, then we snap snap again.
Later, we went to a pediatric clinic just to purchase a fever syrup. Just in case she gets fever at night. But since she is too small, the nurse insisted we consult with the doctor first. We waited for our turn and asked the doctor a few questions. I noticed her tongue is short, and the doctor said it is a bit short. It won't affect her speech, don't worry, he said. There isn't need to do anything. Hopefully it will not affect her. Now, Angel is 8.5kg, 67cm tall. Doctor said she look like a 8 months old baby and recommended that longer intervals for her feeding time. She's abit overweight. To me, I felt it is ok, probably she sleeps alot, that is why she can grow faster. Her weight would stabilize by then. As long she is healthy, it is good enough.

CNY 2010
This year's CNY has been busier than previous years. The difference is of course with my Angel dearest. We went back on Friday, the weather was extremely hot, I took bath like 4-5 times a day. I officially took over the role of babysitting from my MIL as she is busy preparing for CNY eve and also to pray the ancestors.
This year is extra special as we experienced power failure on Sat and Sun evening. The weather is already extremely hot, yet we need to face such an incident. I was so worried for my little Angel. Hubby bring us to Giant hypermarket on Sat. And on Sun, I just brought the baby to the opposite house.
Angel received alot of ang pau this year....somehow our investment pays off. Ha ha ha, not too bad, can get back some right at the second year of CNY after marriage. Relatives surely did ask me when to have my second one, I just said, Oh no, not in the near future......must wait for Angel to stable down first.
Second day of CNY - We took the trip down Bidor before going back to Taiping. Visiting my foster parents in Bidor is a must-do task each CNY. My foster mum was so happy to welcome us especially Angel. She was not here when I delivered Angel. She gave us three ang pau and also bought Angel a set of Disney baby wear. Big thank you to her. The thing that amazed me was Angel laughed out loud while looking at her. And she kept on laughing non stop. Her signature smile often melted our hearts.
Because of some 'technical' problems which is not to be mentioned here, we managed to reach Taiping at 9.30pm. Theng and family already reached and had a round of steamboat with Mummy, Papa, Ywoon and Jason. Everyone smiling cheerfully to welcome my Angel back home. It is her first visit, I wasn't sure how will Angel reacts. It was ok gradually, they all took turn to carry her.
Third day of CNY - We made a trip up to Penang. Bro-in-law wanted to visit and makan makan before returning back to Bangkok. Everyone of us, with empty stomach drove up Penang, meet his friend and had our brunch at Penang Street. Each one of us had a bowl of Laksa and a bowl of Cendol. The Cendol was good, but the Laksa so-so only. The Fried Carrot Cake was not too bad also. It was only a short trip there, where we head to our next destination, Bukit Tambun. My cousin, Aunty Suan lives there. Uncle Patrick and family were there too, so it is another gathering for us there.
Aunty Suan and family live in a bungalow and her husband had made a KTV room where we shout our hearts out singing the karaoke songs while enjoying Chinese tea....For the first time, everyone including the three babies, mine and sis's little two enjoyed the day there. We took family photos there:-
I spent my fourth and fifth day in Taiping, at home most of the time. Angel was enjoying her days there and slept well, THANKS KUAN YIN MA! I left Taiping on Thurs afternoon, I do not know when is my next trip back to Taiping again. Miss home in fact.
Overall, my CNY this year is all about my family and my Angel. I know it is pretty much a quiet CNY in town, but to me, I value my days spent with my family and my little girl.

Extreme busy last minute rush for CNY
This whole week is totally stressful. Last weekend, I had my sister and her two angels in my house. I'm acting nanny and maid to my sis. I see her taking care of the two, and admired her courage to resign from work to be a fulltime housewife. Her first girl is starting to touch here and there, exploring new things. However her second one is abit sticky, she will cry the minute my sis walked away even within a short distance. Though tired, still we enjoyed their companion over the weekend.
I did not go back to see my little Angel. As CNY is coming soon, we will go back only this Friday morning. My days in office is crazy. Too many work in hand, I am not yet back to normal position ever since I ended my maternity leave. Work seriously increasing, 24 hours simply not enough. I couldn't sleep well at night, stressing about work and missing my little girl.
Hubby made a surprise when he came back with CNY decoration items on Sunday. He decorated the whole house with CNY banners. It is very colourful, and it would be a surprise to Angel.
We will soon welcome her home as she will return to stay with us right after CNY. Truly very happy waiting for the moment even though I am abit worried, as I need to juggle between work and taking care of her. Kuan Yin Ma, bless me. Hopefully I can go through with a strong heart and manage everything well.
Tomorrow will be my last day of work and I will be off for the entire week for Chinese New Year. This year is special as I will be celebrating with Angel. I've packed her new clothings and stuff. Today she is officially 3 months old. Big girl already.....with new progress. MIL said she no longer like to be on bouncer, she will request to be carried. And guess what, she laughed out very loud already..I miss her very very much. Hopefully she still remembers me even with my new haircut. Hubby and I will definitely enjoy our CNY & Valentine's Day with Angel dearest and also family.
See the two girls!!!

Chinese New Year Hair Style
Last Thursday after work, I treated myself for a hair transformation. Hahahaha, ever since I am married and pregnant, my hair remain to be the simple short black hair. A thought for a change and with the excuse of the coming CNY, I went to colour and highlight my hair. I went to Fix Saloon in Wangsa Maju and looked for Sam, the director. He gave me a nice haircut, bouncy look since I said my hair is getting thinner and thinner. He recommended a base colour and the highlight colour for me. It turned out to be not too bad. At least, there's a sudden shine from my face, after being dull all these while.
Hubby's comments forever can't be trusted. He would say that I took money to stick on my hair. I went to office on Friday and many commented I looked younger. I told myself I had went through pregnancy, labour pain and this is a way I reward myself for my hardwork.
I do not know if Angel notice my new hairstyle when I am back this coming Friday. Hopefully not, else she will look lost and won't smile at me.
P/S: So far, I did not take any photo with my new hairstyle yet. Hmm, wait till CNY. And I will update in my blog here...

Long weekend with Angel dearest!
Last Friday was the day I looked for as I am back to T.Intan to see my little Angel. Thought I would reach by 8+pm. But this 'good' husband of mine did something good and made me waited till 10.30pm to reach there. Not to be explained here.....HISTORY!
First glance, her hair grows alot and it is thicker than before. Then I noticed one bad habit of hers, she is sucking her finger nails. OMG, how can this be? No wonder no mitten on her right hand...it is for her to suck like a drumstick. I wondered when this started. MIL said this is her sign when she wants milk. Another new development where I missed.
Bad news this round, Angel is down with phlegm. Perhaps this affected her feeding as well. There were few times where she did not finish her milk. And the thing is, I only knew it on Thursday night when I called MIL. She started to be unwell for a few days back then. I was worried and dreamt of her that same night. Luckily when I see her, she is still that bubbly, happy go lucky baby.
Husband and I brought her to see the doctor on Saturday morning. We gave her the cough mixture. After her feeding, when she burped, sometimes the phlegm came out. It is whitish in colour. And she passed out motion quite frequent, passing out all toxins and heat from her body. Hubby had one important assignment this weekend, PAINTING. He had to paint the ceiling and walls of his living hall in Teluk Intan. He must be addicted to painting. Glad that FIL assisted him that two days. He painted a featured wall, pink in colour, it is quite similar with what we had in our house here in KL.
During the two days of their painting session, I spent my time taking care of her. I bathed her, feed her and put her to sleep. She just loves to smile, she would smile instantly when we called her. And to my surprise, she would laugh out loud, showing her dimples and her very very innocent face. They were telling me that she is the kind of active baby next time, I said if she gets naughty, I will be the one scolding and teaching her. Her daddy would just protect her. How far it is true.......soon to find out!
This round, not to miss, the photo taking session.

And I also taken a video of her sucking her fingers. I have to find out how to post it up to my blog. I want to make sure that Angel is reading my blog when she turns older.
