Toy Story 3 Sunday
We went out on Sunday to Midvalley. Angel’s diarrhea wasn’t well completely, but it was much better than Saturday. There were a few times she passed out, but it was a bit and bit only. The idea to go there is to use up Metrojaya vouchers Mum gave me when she was here. I decided to use the vouchers to buy Angel’s necessities. I also bought drinking bottle for Angel, as I stopped using Avent bottle for water drinking. I used it only for milk and bought a cheaper one for water.
What’s attractive in Midvalley was the set up of Toy Story 3 stage at the Centre Court, with mascot Buzz and Woody (if I remembered correctly) to pose and take photos with the public. And with the purchase of the i-Talk card of RM10, we were given a free photoshoot and a print out for us to keep. I grabbed this opportunity as we seldom take family photo. Luckily hubby also took out his camera, there were simply too many photos he took……
The one taken by the photographer is not too bad. I am very satisfied and aimed to scan it and upload into my blog here. Wait and you’ll see, the proud Chew family!
Angel is SICK!
On 7 June, Angel is down with cough and phlegm. At first, it was a mild one, then it turned serious. She was given the Chinese medication and three to four days later, I was also down with sorethroat and cough. I went to see doctor on Thursday and I thought why not I get her checked too. To my surprise, the doctor examined her and said that she had throat inflammation. Earlier, she showed no symptom of sorethroat. She was drinking and eating as usual. Hmm, I doubt the doctor’s consultation though I continued to give her antibiotic prescribed by the doctor. The cough, phlegm and flu went on for about two weeks. Finally, I brought her to The Lourdes and had Doctor Johan confirmed that she is all right.
Little did I know, after all that recovered, another one came. On Friday, 18 June, when I picked Angel at the babysitter’s house, she told me that Angel had diarrhea. It was serious, I can say. My Saturday is awful, Angel kept passing out and it worries me to see her in this state. I thought of bringing her to Doctor Johan, he was on leave. Then I just brought her to a general doctor, and my oh my, I don’t seem to trust what the doctor said. I do not wish to elaborate further, I just felt sick talking to him.
On Saturday, I lost track of how many times I changed her diaper. I even changed her milk to Novolac Anti Diarrhea (AD). No porridge at all for these two days. She had mild fever too. But she is not crying, remain active, bubbly and naughty as ever. Somehow I do not know if it was teething or the herbal tea the babysitter fed her, or the pumpkin porridge…….anything can be the reason why she ended up like this.

Angel can now hold her own milk bottle
3 June, I trained Angel to hold her own milk bottle. I felt I want to train her to be independent from young. But the trick was sometimes Angel is like playing around with the bottle. And I end up holding the bottle for her.
Angel can now sits!
Angel can now sits on her own. Right after Mummy’s trip here, the following week, she learnt to sit. She is not that steady yet, and we are very careful just in case she falls. This is another stage of her developments and as a result, I asked hubby to take photos of her, and it serves as a reminder as and when she learns to sit.
House+Co
My day didn’t end the minute Mummy and Jason left. Another agenda, to meet up my friends. The venue this time is at House+Co, Bangsar Shopping Centre. This was my first time to the mall, and best of all, it is newly renovated. First glance when we reached, I wondered if it is a food place. Did I go to a wrong place? As this is recommended by Lan Shing and she was there with me, she brought me in to the shop and found a cosy corner to seat on. Angel was sleeping by then, and I had the chance to talk with her and updating myself with the news, Geok Ying’s wedding plan and also Phaik Har’s countdown to baby delivery.
The rest of the gang reached an hour later. Angel woke up by then. Irene, Soo Bee and Geok Ying took chance to carry her and snap photos of her. Best of all, Angel’s photos are already in Facebook. Hmm, I wonder if I should open up a Facebook account for Angel.
Hubby was excited too about the place and went over the place to snap each and every corner of the place.

He also took photographs of me and Angel.

We left the place at about 9pm. And let me tell you, I was extremely tired and tired.
