Angel's very own ANKLET!
We reached Taiping yesterday morning, one of the destination for our Merdeka holidays. I came back to visit my parents and it is also Angel's second visit ever since Chinese New Year. As usual, 48hrs is simply not enough, tomorrow we will head on to Teluk Intan to visit my parents-in-law.
Today, for breakfast, we went to eat wan tan mee at our favourite stall. Then I went to dentist to do my first ever "SCALING". Hmm, it was a good experience, and it is not painful. The fee charged here is much cheaper than in KL.
In the afternoon, I made a visit to Juru to see Ee Lin and husband. She is expecting, due 18 Oct 2010. I wished her luck, and will be praying for her safe delivery this coming Oct 2010.
At night, we went to Restaurant Kai Xin for dinner. Hmmm, coincidentally same name with my girl's name...I mean the pronounciation.
And yesterday night, we went to buy Angel a silver anklet. I felt now is the time we put on her with accessories. And with the bell, we will be able to know where she crawl/walk to or even when she wakes up. Haha, at first she felt funny wearing it, but now she no longer bothers.
I told her, "Mummy & Papa can't afford to buy you gold now, we buy silver first ok?" Hopefully she understands!
These are some of the photos taken during my 48 hours in Taiping:-

24 August 2010 - A day I will never forget!
It was about 3pm. I was working like usual in office, busy updating my work and getting prepared for the coming quarter closing when I received a call from my babysitter. She sounded panic and trembled. She asked me not to get panic over what she will say to me next. "Ah B just fell off my bed", she said. My heart sank. Can't describe how I felt, and I thought, this is not the usual fall she used to have. She later explained the whole situation. My girl's head bleeds! Her husband drove her and my girl to the nearest clinic. She promised to keep me updated of her progress.
According to her, the bleeding was not that serious, and the wound is about the size of 2-3cm. She even commented that perhaps my girl has to go for stitches. OMG! I was already in tears!
The doctor later wrote her a reference letter and asked her to bring my girl to the KL GH for further checkup. According to him, my girl is very small and he wanted to ensure that she is all right. Without fail, she rushed her to GH and on and off we were on the line to ensure that I keep up to-date of her progress.
After doctor's examination, my girl does not have to go for X-ray, she doesn't show any symptoms like vomiting, etc. OK, passed first stage. Then she was brought to another doctor to see her wound. Thank goodness she does not have to go for stitches. They glued her wound only. Best thing is my girl is not crying the whole session from the clinic to GH. Except from the initial fall and the time the doctor glued her wound, the rest of the time, I would hear her laughing and shouting out loud. Even the doctor and nurses in GH also commented that why an active baby like her could end up waiting for doctor's examination.
I ended my work sharp at 4.45pm, went over to pick hubby and rushed back to fetch her. My hubby of course was very sad, figuring out why such incident happen. Of course, no one would expect that to happen. And I wouldn't want to blame any party over this matter. Anyway, thank goodness she is now well and recovering.

Pinky Pinky Pie Pie
Lately, we are into swimming. My colleague, Elaine gave me his son's float to my Angel. And last Saturday, we went to the Parenthood Fair in Midvalley and ended up buying a swimwear for my girl. Hahaha, two piece. And it's pink in colour. I told myself, since I can't wear two piece, my girl shall represent on my behalf. Hmmm, still her big belly is exposed.....and it is very cute. So far, I have not taken photo of her wearing that yet, but it will come real real soon.

Third tooth and a bad illness!
Angel's third tooth just came up. And she also had her first jab of pneumococcal two weeks ago. Things got worse when she is sick at the same time. Her flu and cough worsen. Last Monday, suddenly she developed high fever, up to 39.4 degrees. I was so afraid that I quickly wake her up and feed her with fever syrup. After work, I brought her to see doctor when he said she had throat infection. The whole week was crazy. Thank goodness, my nanny is helpful enough. And now she recovered. It was seriously a tiring week for all of us.
Signs of learning to walk!
Angel will soon turn nine months old in 2 days time. She has been progressing very good so far. Now, I can see that whenever she is crawling, at one step, I see she is trying to stand up herself. She can now lean on the couch and the other hand holding on to her stool. I tell you, she is absolutely daring, she is not afraid that she might fall off just like that. There are a few incidents and alot of times, it happen when I am alone with her. As usual, hubby would nag and nag when I informed him. To him, my girl is now the first priority and his gem of course. He is seriously loving her more and more, sometimes too much till I felt he should have let her to learn to be independent enough. Nevertheless, I am happy that he is learning to be a good father day by day!
Now it is hubby's turn, Pa Pa
Over the weekend when sis was here, Angel started to call out Papa. Hubby was very sure she called him this time. He kept on asking her to repeat. Hahahahaha, he finally got his turn. Monday night, she was calling us, both Ma Ma and Pa Pa. We were too glad to hear this. Her progress and development were tremendous. Now she can walk while holding on to the stool, her babycot or anything else. Her crawling skills improved too! Good girl!
Sis's visit
We had sis and her two kids over the weekend on 23-25 July 2010. The plan was to go to the Midvalley International Toy's Fair and also to purchase milk powder and diapers for her two kids. We went to pick them up on Friday night. Her two kids were excited and they remembered my girl's name. How sweet! I find this is the good opportunity for them to gather and play together as I labelled them "Do Re Mi".....they are just one year apart from each other, San Ern turning three, San Hui turning two and Kye Xin turning one, by end of this year. Saturday, they all woke up pretty late, my girl slept till 10am. I cooked lunch, we settled with the kids and off we went out. Before we go over to Midvalley, we stopped by Phaik Har's house to visit her and newborn. It is also a gathering for me and friends. I couldn't remember when was the last time we met. Seems like months ago. And this round, we get to see all babies, 4 of them. Yeen Leng's baby, Sue Lee's baby, Phaik Har's baby and mine baby too. 2 boys and 2 gals. I heard they were discussing previously on how to matchmake them. Very funny! At the end of the day, we enjoyed the session together. After an hour, we greeted goodbye and go off straight to Midvalley. Hmm, we need to pay the admission fee for the exhibition though, so hubby decided not to join us in. It was disappointing in fact, as the toys they meant are not the one we expected. I felt it is the adult's toy and none of the booth sells toys for babies. Except for one tiny little stall where sis bought the Cat ABC Puzzle. However, the exhibition hall next to it seems interesting. It was the Health and Nutrition event. There were alot of booth inside, namely Nestle, Gardenia, Daisy, Vitagen, Yakult and many more. There were also health check offerred. We get to drink Milo, Yakult, Dutch Lady and took bread samples. It is even better and best of all, the kids and my baby get to eat the bread. After the event, we went to buy diapers and milk powder. Highlights of the day, sis found a stall selling shoes, and she bought three pairs for her kids and my girl. Now, they have something in common, except they are in different sizes. We settled for a bigger size for my girl. She has big foot, and we do not know when she can wear them. Thanks Sis!
On Sunday, we stayed at home. I went out for my facial. Hubby cooked red bean and steamed tofu, I boiled watercress soup with red dates for lunch. Sis was not feeling well like I did. We had a two hours nap together with the three musketeers. Guess they felt tired too. For dinner, I fried maggi mee. The kids and baby ate the porridge. It was raining by the time we sent them home. Hmmm, a good weeekend I find. To my surprise, my girl started responding to them compared to the previous time they were here. I felt she wanted to go down to the floor to join them running and walking here and there. She shouted each time the kids talk. After they went back, she seriously sleep alot. Even on Monday, nanny was commenting that she slept the whole day. She must be tired entertaining herself with the kids.

Ma Ma Ma Ma
10 July, in the evening, all of the sudden, she calls out Ma Ma. And she kept calling them the whole night. My oh my, she is calling me. I can be sure this time that she is calling me. And do you know what hubby's respond is? He said, why didn't you call papa first? Hahahahahaha, I just said, don't get jealous. Angel is loving me more than she loves you. How bad! On the next day, she also call out loud. And another word she learnt was mum mum. She will say that when she is hungry and she saw the milk I prepared.
She throws, She beats
Angel is definately growing and developing day by day. Everyday we would discover that she learnt a new skill. On Sunday, she took the ball and throw real hard on the floor. She would then crawl to take the ball and start throwing again. Then on Monday, when I went to nanny's house to fetch her, nanny said she beat her in the afternoon especially if she is slow in feeding her with porridge. We went back home that night, and she did the same to me as well. Each time she beats, she will laugh out loud. As if she enjoys doing that. And now if we say, "Give me Five", she will raise up her hand and touches my palm.
Expensive gadget for Angel
5 July, Just before Angel turns 8 months old, we have a surprise for her. We decided to buy her the Bumbo Seat with Tray. I have been thinking and thinking for months to get her this as it is costly I think. The original price of this seat with tray is RM 249.90. But I managed to purchase it online with the price of RM 179.90 from www.littlewhiz.com. And I also bought Leg Huggers of RM 34.20 to make it up to RM 200.00 to qualify for free delivery. This leg huggers is cool, it is designed to protect babies while they are crawling, climbing, running or dancing. Hopefully Angel would love these!
Beba.....
3 July, Saturday. In the morning, we went out to the wet market and bought groceries for the week. Angel was there with us, and we had breakfast there. Hubby bought bread for her and she ate with joy. Angel was corresponding with the aunty in the market, she will say "Er er er" when she asked her questions. So funny to hear that. Then I cooked lunch and we started to clean up the house while she was taking her nap. Later s we were spending time together playing with her, all of the sudden, she said the word "Beba.." We were stunned. Hubby then asked,"Is she calling me?" I said, "No, you are dreaming." Hahahahaha, how bad of me. Somehow it resembles like calling the word papa. Angel's face looked funny, wondering what we were talking about. Ever since then, I kept saying to her, Beba....Beba...and she will smile!
She sits, she crawls, she stands
Just before Angel turns 8 months, she did all three at a time, Sit, Crawl, Stand. 11 June, she sit up straight. Every night, she would sit next to me and played with her toy and teether. By then she also knew how to crawl, except that it is the swimming position. 26 June, she started to crawl and she is able to stand. She will hold on the cot rail and stand up. She wasn't that steady to crawl yet, but it was amazing to see her developing day by day. She will grab on the chair or anything solid and stand up. This is the time that either me and Hubby had to give full attention to her. Hubby took the initiative to clean up the living hall, emptied the area and clean the floor. This is to ensure that the germs are not everywhere. I felt perhaps due to the diarrhea she had last month, Hubby is now more careful and practise hygiene concept. Good news, he is loving our family more and more each day. I had taken photos of her sitting, standing, crawling for the few days. Here are some to share.
She fell from my bed!
27 June, Sunday morning, hubby went to the market and off to office to work. I was bathing her, changed her into her clothes and I put her on my bed. I was just about to place her mat on my shower rack when she fell off my bed. I quickly carried her up and rub her head. She cried out loud but it ended the minute I carried her. I was so sorry and kept apologizing to her. I shouldn't have leave her alone even only for a few seconds. My next reaction was to call my husband. He was still in the market and he drove back immediately. He scolded me for being careless, I couldn't care less as I was the one to be blamed and I wanted to ensure that she is all right. I spent the rest of the day with her. Come evening, hubby came back, and as I marched in the toilet for my bath, I heard her crying again. She was standing in her cot and she fell. Her eyes hit on the cot and there's a slight bruise near to the eye area. This round, hubby is the one to be blamed. Luckily she is all right, she did not cry long either. I reminded Angel to be careful next time....and I hope she understands!
Technip Sports Day - 26 June 2010
This is the second time I went to my company's Sports Day. I did not participate in any event, I just registered my name, get the freebies and be the spectator of the event. Hahahaha...and this round, I went with hubby and of course my little Angel. The venue is at Uniten, Bangi and the registration closed at 7.30am. Imagine how early I had to wake up. As usual, I informed Angel about the event and the time. She seemed to know and understand. She woke up right at 6.45am, drank her milk and looked very active. But the minute she went into the car, hahahaha, she slept the whole journey till Bangi. Boy oh boy, we went out the wrong highway exit, and we had to make a U-turn. Luckily I reached just in time to register.
I do not know why, but she seemed not to like anyone else to carry her other than me! Perhaps she grows to recognise people, even she didn't like her daddy to carry. A few of my colleagues took their turn to carry and entertain her, but the session lasted only for about 5-10 mins.
We watched the opening ceremony, the track and field, swimming and badminton matches.
I felt this is more of like a family day for me. And I felt if this is on next year, I will bring her to the event again.
