Very very high fever, yet still smiling!

Last Saturday morning, 25 Sept, Kye Xin Bb was down with high fever. I started to feel that her body is warm when she came back on Friday night. We thought what would cause the fever. As the nanny is sick, she thought if it was her who transmitted the virus to her. Since Dr. Johan is in on Saturday, we took her there. 39 degrees, doc said. And he immediately instructed his nurse to put a bullet @ medicine to her buttock. He proceeded by giving Kye Xin Bb a thing to hold while he checked on her. Her throat was slightly red, but no ulcers. At the end of the examination, doctor said no doubt she is having fever, but she doesn't look like in pain. He was pretty amazed with her.
The thing we fear most came. I asked hubby to put her on the weighing scale. On July10, she was at about 11.2kg. It was funny to hear how hubby commented. When he placed her on the scale, and the scale passed 11, he said no hope already. He meant for her weight reduction. And the result was, Kye Xin Bb put on half a kg, total 11.7kg.
Then again, the nurse and doctor said it is normal for her, in terms of her size and height. This round, Kye Xin Bb greeted the doctor 'Bye bye' with her hand. She laughed out loud and I tell you, she remembered this place.
As a result, no swimming session this weekend. Kye Xin Bb was so stoned after taking the medicines. Even when I went out for an outing with my friends, she doesn't have the mood to smile and entertain them. She just sleep and sleep.
Today, nanny bought the Chinese medicine for her. And one discovery, there are about 3-4 new teeth at the upper level, all come out at once which explains the reason why she had fever non stop. I tell my girl, a few teeth out at the same time and yet she did not cry and remain active and playing about, she is my little good girl. What happens next, she clapped her hand and happily laugh out loud. Tough girl!

Naughty, naughty Bb

Nowadays, Kye Xin Bb is non stop moving here and there. She is slowly learning to stand by herself now. Yesterday, she surprised me by standing herself, her hands flipped like wings. Smart girl, she knew how to balance herself. I immediately ask her if she is ready to walk.
Besides that, I came to discover that she knew how to get down from our bed. She will crawl backwards to the side, one leg down to touch the floor and then only the other leg down. Hahahaha, we captured her video. It was funny looking at them.
These few days, Nanny was not feeling well. She has been coughing very badly. Poor thing! Luckily Kye Xin Bb did not give much fuss to her. During the Mooncake Festival on 22 September 2010, nanny brought Kye Xin Bb to her SIL's party. How nice of her! The nanny told me that Kye Xin Bb slept from 1-5pm that day. She seem to know that Nanny is not feeling well and also she is getting ready to go to the party. Good girl! When I went to fetch her, I can see that my baby enjoyed in the party. Thanks to her, Kye Xin's first Mooncake Festival ever celebrated will be very memorable. And I prayed that Nanny would recover very very soon!

Second Birthday Gift - this comes all the way from Australia

Lee Ting came back for a week's holiday. We had chance to meet up for lunch and she bought my girl a dress. And I am treating this as my girl's birthday gift. We are worried at first if it can't fit her, but later on I tried it on her, and I can say she can wear it for quite sometime. THANKS LEE TING! Though you didn't have chance to meet Kye Xin Bb in person, I am sure you'll love her as much by looking at the photos I uploaded.

Kye Xin Bb's First Birthday Gift

Kye Xin Bb received her first birthday gift - from her Nanny. She bought her a dress and a pair of shoes. How thoughtful of her! There is about 2 months to go before she turns one year old. OMG, she is more anxious than me...... anyway THANK YOU! Kye Xin Bb will surely love them!

I started to call her Kye Xin Bb lately. Sometimes she is just driving me nuts, sometimes acting very very innocent and when you started to pity for her, she would turn into a rascal again....Hahahahaha, I believe babies who are on formula milk would be behaving like what my girl is currently doing. Their brain progress and actions are tremendous. You will never know what she would have learned so far.
My days get busier in these 2 weeks. I am in the midst of closing the accounts for co's 3rd quarter. And taking care of her is a must everyday, I can't apply for AL, EL, ML..... She is very demanding nowadays, if given the chance, she will explore every part of the house and take those forbidden things. Her daddy is the one who worries the most, Kye Xin Bb will take the items and put into her mouth. We fear there will be germs. See, the photos below are taken on 11 Sept 2010, I really beh tahan looking at the photos taken. Somehow she just loves to pose in front of the camera, and it is very obvious that she looks real real naughty!

We created a new hobby for the family - SWIMMING. It is now our weekly regime, big thank you to hubby. He really stress on the importance of bringing her precious to swim. Bonus - nanny had given Kye Xin Bb her daughter's bath robe that she used to wear. With all that, this would mean Kye Xin Bb has a complete set of attire and accessories for her swimming. Each time when we want to go, I would say out loud, "SWIMMING SWIMMING", my girl will laugh out loud and is ready to get changed into her swimming suit. And now when she is in the pool, she will beat the water with her hands and her legs will kick and kick. Best of all, I get to swim and exercise. Hubby knew I hardly had time to exercise, he would then give me time to swim and he would take care of her. So far, we failed to capture moments of her swimming as three of us are in the pool already. I felt happy swimming now, one family together, doing things we love together.
