My new Maternity Wear

I have been switching to maternity wear since June 10. I bought myself:-
4 Miki Maternity pants
- Black long pants (70% discount, bought in Sogo)
- Black three-quarter pants (Normal price, bought in Isetan KLCC)
- Khakis three-quarter pants (70% discount, bought in Sogo)
- Khakis long pants (50% discount, bought in Isetan The Gardens)
1 Modernmum black long pants (10% discount, bought in KLCC)
1 Miki Maternity green shirt (50% discount, bought in Isetan The Gardens)
1 Motherclub blue shirt (50% discount, bought in Sogo)
1 Motherclub pink shirt (70% discount, bought in Sogo)
1 Jusco Scarlet blue stripes shirt (70% discount, bought in Jusco WM)
1 Jusco Scarlet grey shirt (70% discount, bought in Jusco WM)

Sounds like a lot right, but most of the shirt are not quite suitable for working purpose and I find them dull. I am still wearing my current shirts as I am now not gaining much weight and the belly is still small. Tired of washing pants by myself everyday, I went with husband to Sungei Wang yesterday. I went into the V-Mum shop, which sells the maternity wear. My target is on the dresses. I tried on at least ten different types of dresses and shortlisted four which I would say can last me till my due date of delivery. All the above mentioned are not costly (except for Miki three-quarter black pants and Modernmum pants). For the dress, they have this promotion, buy 1 or 2 pieces = 10% disc, 3 pieces = 20% disc and 4 pieces & above = 30% disc. This explains why I shortlisted four. Hubby wanted me to get the best deal out of it. Hmm, the reason why I settled with this shop is their designs look nicer and I don't look old wearing it compared to other brands which I tried earlier. Hopefully you'll agree after looking at the them below:-

This is an investment every pregnant lady would do. And it's only the beginning. More to come, baby stuff = milk bottles, baby cot, stroller, car seat, etc. I have been doing lots and lots of survey. I wanted to make sure that I can get best deal for the items I want. To juggle between new house and the coming baby is extremely hard. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly for both of us.

P/S: Next checkup = 2 July. Guess, boy or girl??? Ha ha!

Week 18

I almost went through half the pregnancy cycle. Lately, my bowel movements were not consistent. Two weeks back, I'm having constipation. And last week, I'm having diarrhea. It's not a serious one, just the stools are abit soft. I must remembered all this down and check with the doc on my next checkup on July 2.
Friends and colleagues were very curious to know the gender of my BB. I wonder why.....after all, it has been pre-determined during ovulation. Not beyond my control. End result: as long as my BB is healthy and sound, it's already good enough.
I went to Spektrum Pharmacy in Jln Genting Klang and bought myself Neurogain PB. This dietary supplement is recommended by my sis. It is said to help in the brain development of my BB. I did a research over the Web and found alot of good testimonials from mothers who taken this previously. It is costly though, 30 vegicaps for RM58.90, almost RM2 a capsule. BB, so long as it benefits you, Mummy will take it!
It is already Week 18 and I don't feel any movement in my stomach yet. There's only one time where I felt like a tingling sensation, not too sure if BB is giving me signal. Hopefully, BB will respond to Mummy soon.
I had a few rounds of gastric pain lately. Perhaps the lunch is not enough to sustain till 6pm. I tried not to create the snack munching habit...maybe I should get some healthy snacks to store in my office. Just to standby.

We collected our house keys!

June 9, we went to collect keys for our new home. We paid RM 3,109.60 for things like maintenance charges, sinking fund, fire insurance, quit rent, assessment, water meter and etc. We were then shown around by the person-in-charge on the common area. There's gym, children and adult pool, sauna, playground, guest room, hall and karaoke room.
First impression when we opened the door, it was like dream come true. We finally own our new home. But then it's kind of sad that our kitchen, room n toilet were smaller than I can remembered. Then again it is good that we'll soon own our privacy land!
Next thing, we are trying hard to search for people to renovate. Our concern, kitchen, wardrobe, plaster ceiling and grills. That is why my hubby and I constantly search for advertisement in newspapers and looking around shops to ask for their quotations. Hopefully we will be blessed and in the end, we'll be able to decorate our home as cosy as it can be. It will be a perfect place to welcome our BB.

Week 17

It's now Week 17. I made up my mind to deliver in PPUM. Went there two weeks ago to get myself registered. I'm scheduled for my first checkup there on July 2. On 25th last month, I went for my checkup. My BB is about 10cm long and the heartbeat is 157beats per second. It's amazing to see how fast my BB grows, looking at the ultrasound machine, the head is larger than the body. I'm very excited.
This few weeks, I'm extreme busy preparing for my exam and the closing of accounts for my company's Quarter 2. The stress is there, but I'm glad my BB is supporting me. I always look forward to finish my work quickily. And I constantly rub my tummy in circular motion, hoping that BB will feel my warm and caring touch. BB, you must bless mummy so that mummy can graduate and concentrate fully in taking care of BB.
My appetite improved slightly, still I hate to eat prawns. Putting about 3kg so far. Alot of my friends commented that I don't look like 4 months pregnant, as my tummy did not bulge out that much. Somehow it's good, at least I don't look like a fat pregnant lady that fast. Ha ha!
During my next checkup in PPUM, I would be able to know the sex of my BB. I'm hoping for a girl, while my husband wanted a boy. We'll see who wins!
