This year's Labour day is special. Mum, Papa and Jason came down to KL to attend my cousin's wedding in Dynasty Hotel. We got to spend some time with Theng and babies. The lunch at Jusco Kepong was great, not forgetting Byan's cheeky face really make us all laugh and tired as well. Bhui's performance on that day was A+. She felt comfortable with Mum and Papa, though this is actually their first time spending time together. After the wedding dinner, I drove them back to Taiping. The next day, I went over to Apollo Medical Centre where I see Dr. Jeya, my gynae back in my younger days where I always go over to consult about my irregular periods. To think further, she must have been very surprised to see me after so many year of getting MIA.
I told her about my pregnancy and asked for her advice and also the growth of my little one. Little didn't I know, she told me I was in my week 11. Abit surprised since the other doctor in KL told me I was only at week 8. Hmmm, somehow Dr. Jeya gave me a due date for delivery whereas the other didn't. The due date is 3 weeks earlier, 20 November 2009.
Never thought I'm way forward now, and I can actually see my baby is formed completely and sleep comfortably in my womb through the ultrasound scan. The baby is now 42.2mm long. The doctor gave me folic acid, B-complex and Duphaston. I must continue to drink my milk and more water plus fruits and vegetables to prevent constipation.
She gave me a printout from the scanning machine, and advised me to checkup regularly and to avoid getting too active.
I took the bus back to KL. I kept on praying in heart that it will be a smooth journey with no traffic jam. God blessed me. My husband picked me up at the bus station and we went to the Homedec in KLCC Convention Centre. He was very particular in checking the prices for our electrical appliances for our new home. We even stopped by the Nippon paint centre and got ourselves samples of paint. He is excited to get different colour for each section of our new home. I can't do much to help him, since he'll be all alone in the painting and also moving to the new hse. Poor thing, I can only support him morally.
After dinner, I went to Isetan KLCC and got myself a Miki three quarter pants. I must say that maternity wear is not cheap at all. One thing for sure, this pants can support until my full term of pregnancy as the waist strap is adjustable. I also went over to Modernmum and got myself a long black pants. I love the soft material alot. Didn't get any blouse since I thought I can continue wearing my own shirts. The dresses are lovely but too pricey for me though. My husband is thinking isn't it early to shop? I don't think so, as now I can still actively shopping, and I don't want to get things last minute. But from now on, I will make some survey on the blouses and dresses. I love to get one or two dresses for myself.
